Zahid Tractor was originally incorporated in 1967 to distribute Caterpillar machinery and equipment, serving virtually all Saudi Arabia's public and private commercial businesses. Since then it has expanded into additional sectors providing fully integrated solutions to its demanding clientele.

The business grew significantly to include Construction Machinery, Rental and Commercial Vehicles. This required the Company to be restructured into efficiently run divisions providing special and customized service to its clients.

CMD has a product range that covers the full spectrum of construction, mining, earth moving and road equipment, and power generators.

Managing one of the world’s largest Caterpillar dealerships, it provides its clients with fully-integrated solutions including world-famous brands such as Barber Green, Ingersoll Rand compressors, Terex, Demag and Lorain cranes, Svetruck specialised lifts, JLG and Jungheinrich material handling equipment, Peerless pumps, Rammer industrial hammers and Challenger agricultural tractors.
